A true veteran of the groove, "King" George Penn has played music as far as the "I" can see. George has toured nationally and internationally with renown Reggae band Jah Works through Europe, The US, and The Caribbean. George has been an integral part of the East Coast music scene manning the drums for Maryland based international reggae stars Jah Works, Virginia underground funk legends Yams from Outer Space, live hip hop outfit True Sound, and countless others. His amazing ability in the jazz arena also landed him countless spots in ensembles in the Mid-Atlantic.
King George has also been a cultural warrior, fighting to spread the Funk, on the airwaves of Virginia with a radio show that he hosts -Soul Jones.
